When you wrote "it starts with a feeling that something is amiss" I had a little chuckle. I have always referred to this feeling as "Divine discontent."
Thank you for sharing your story. As my path comes closer to an end I find the path is not as important. There are less options. If I am accepting of where I am on the path, I begin to feel more at ease and peaceful with where I am.
Jessica, I think you're right. I believe that peace comes. Also rest. I'm 62 years old, and what I notice is an urgency to release the books I've started. It's as if I'm finishing up my work. Yes, what a lovely idea. The seeds have been broadcast.
Hi Janisse, I so hope your kickstarter campaign is exploding! I'll continue to share your message and your work, of course, and hope my little pledge helps. Would I be correct in thinking this book speaks to what I call the "yeah-but-syndrome?" as in "yeah, but I'm not good enough," "yeah but I'm not connected enough," "yeah but do I have one sentence that will mean anything to anyone?" Then I remember Yoda saying to Luke, "Do or do not do. There is no try." So we do, don't we? Bless you for doing!
Thanks for sharing your story Janisse--it's such a beautiful one and one that I think we can all relate to. I'm very excited about the book and can't wait to see it in print!
Calling...elusive, an apparition that stays just out of sight on the pathway ahead. Reading about your calling is intriguing and grounding at the same time. It is satisfying to read how your calling appeared as well as your thoughts upon it. In the last year or two I have struggled with it as it seems to be shifting with age, time, ability and the changing energy in my body and spirit. So far, I have found that I must allow calling the space for malleability. Or maybe not. Maybe calling can use some boundaries and direction from myself. Much to consider. Thank you for sharing an excerpt from Craft and Current.❤️

Just wondering if the seeds have been sent?

I'm looking forward to this book! So excited to see such support for the kickstarter ❤️
