Enjoyed going on this adventure with you guys! What's life without a party indeed. Invite me to a red earth party sometime so I can see your dancing for myself.
I loved reading this. Growing up in South Texas, quinces were a big part of my teenage girlhood, and I always marveled at the spectacle, the elaborate dances, and the idea of being considered a woman at that age.
What an amazing event! I was carried away with the excitement of it. Gosh, the planning that must have been involved- and the cost. It’s eye-watering to think of it.
Wow, sounds like quite the over-the-top party! But we're only 15 once, right?
"...her grandfather and grandmother, who weren’t married to each other because one of them was married to me. Which was as uncomfortable as it sounds." That sounds like a tale with some meat in it!

Did you attend them as a teenager? I'd really love to read more about them.
Yes! Many as a teenager and one just last month for the daughter of a close friend.
Lucky you.

My thoughts exactly.
Fun tale! And not your usual fare. Then again, that wasn't a usual night. Feliz cumpleanos a Bimini!

Lol. Another juicy story. I was just thinking how lucky I am to have a diverse and inclusive family.
